Aqua Tower

     Is it a peice of artwork or just another bad design for a tower? The answer depends on where you stand, what time of day, and the lighting of the sun on the building itself. The Auqa tower, in Chicago Il is one of the most uniqe buildings that you will see in downtown Chicago. Each side of the building has a pattern that makes it look like it has waves on it. Comparing it to other towers in Chicago they usually have a flat plane on their sides, however this building is different. When you look at a balcony on a apartment building they are design to be square and looks the same, as for Aqua tower each balcony is different and is not the same size as the ones around it.
     One of the facts about this building is that it is one of the tallest buildings in the world that had a woman as a lead architect named Jeanne Gang. Another fact is the way they were making this building, they would make a stone floor and the shape it into a certain way that would make it look wavy, they would have to do thins for every floor of that building. One of the best qualities of this building is the way it looks after a certain things that a person must do if the building want to look good. For example, if you were to look at Aqua tower when the sun is setting then the building would look like its part of the sunset sky and almost camouflage into the sky, but if you look at it in the middle of the day it would almost look like any other build downtown. Also if you are to stand a certain angle at a certain distance you be able to see the patterns that the wavy balcony give and the spacing between the balcony on the tower can be seen better.
     As for the building itself it is one of the best buildings in Chicago. Not only is this building one of the fancy buildings it is also one of the artistic buildings that you will see. Even the location of the building is a good idea, because it near the lake front as well as Millennium Park. If your looking for any famous buildings in Chicago than the Aqua tower is one of the buildings you must see at sunset.
